Why Is Passive Stretching Bad Before the Workout?

Passive/Static stretching gives a signal to your mind to relax your muscles.

Relaxing your muscles is not the goal of the workout!

The Goal Of The Workout Is To Stay Strong And Short!

Static Stretches Don’t Lower the Risk of Injury.

They increase the range of motion you can attain, but not your ability to stabilize in these new positions. Excessive flexibility without strength increases risk of injury.

First thing people tend to do if they get injured is stretching the injured limb. This can aggravate the problem rather than fix it.
